A workspace is the environment in which a Dashboard user operates. It can represent a merchant, a shop, a single POS terminal, or a custom environment. Within a workspace, the user can have either view-only or editing permissions. The workspace section is divided into four main tabs:

• Merchants
• Shops
• Terminals
• Custom

Each tab displays workspaces of a specific type.

Merchant Tab

The workspace associated with an individual VAT number is referred to as a Merchant. The Merchants tab displays a list of merchants (VAT numbers) that are part of the company.

For each workspace, the following information is available:

• Name: The merchant's company name. For each merchant, the VAT number under which the shops are grouped is also displayed.
• Type: Identifies the type of shops in the Merchant workspace, linked to the VAT number. A Merchant workspace can be:

1. Omnichannel if it includes both physical and Ecommerce shops;
2. Physical if it includes only physical shops;
3. Ecommerce if it includes only Ecommerce shops.

• Number of Shops: The number of shops within the Merchant workspace.
• Created on: The date the workspace was created in the Fabrick Dashboard.

The Merchants tab is visible only if the Fabrick Dashboard Administrator is responsible for a company with multiple VAT numbers. In such cases, the Merchants tab serves as the landing page for the Workspace section. If not, the Merchants tab is not displayed.

Shops Tab

A single VAT number can be associated with multiple shops, which may be either Physical or Ecommerce. In the Shops tab, can be found a list of shop-type workspaces that are part of the company.

he following details are available for each workspace:

• Name: The shop name.

1. For Ecommerce shops, this includes the shop login and URL of the shop's website;
2. For physical shops, this includes the shop's address.

• Merchant: The company name of the merchant to which each shop belongs, shown along with the VAT number;
• Created on: The date the workspace was created in the Fabrick Dashboard.

The Shops tab includes a filter option to sort shops by merchant.

If the Fabrick Dashboard Administrator manages a company with a single VAT number, the Shops tab serves as the landing page for the Workspace section.

Terminals Tab

The Terminals tab provides a list of POS terminals associated with physical shops.

For each terminal workspace, the following details are displayed:

• Name: The identifier of the physical terminal;
• Shop: The physical shop to which the terminal belongs, shown with the shop name and address;
• Service type: The type of service (POS or SoftPOS);
• Created on: The date the workspace was created in the Fabrick Dashboard.

The Terminals tab includes a filter option to sort terminals by their associated shop.

Custom Tab

The Custom tab provides a list of custom workspaces that the user has access to.

For each custom workspace, the following information is displayed:

• Name: The name of the custom workspace;
• Type: Indicates the types of shops included in the custom workspace. A custom workspace can be:

1. Omnichannel: Contains both physical and Ecommerce shops;
2. Physical: Contains only physical shops;
3. Ecommerce: Contains only Ecommerce shops.

• Created on: The date the workspace was created in the Fabrick Dashboard.
